Curate Art to Create a Truly Custom Space

When curating or commissioning any piece of art, I note the energy of the piece, matching the correct art with the function of the space. Case in point: A flamboyant and oversized wall canvas would do well in a family room or game room. A serene, undersized sculpture or figurine is appropriate for adult spaces that elicit solitude, such as a home office, bedroom, or in-home spa.

Things to Consider in a Home Design that Positively Impacts the Planet

In all cases I assume any of the bedrooms may at some point need to double up as a guest room. I always keep this in mind when I am designing the rooms and selecting furniture.
